An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Account Executive (Supply Chain Solution) to join a leading logistics company based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Bristol. This is an ideal opportunity for a sales person with Freight experience to progress their career within an ever-growing company.
Role: Account Executive (Supply Chain Solution)
Locations: Newcastle-upon-Tyne / Bristol
Salary: £26,000 - 33,000
As an Account Executive (Supply Chain Solution), you will be for managing the relationship with existing accounts, in addition to, securing and managing new business. In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
*Business retention with existing customers
*Targeting the appropriate number of potential customers to generate new business revenue.
*Ability to educate themselves on the Company Focus to be able to sell the core products of an extensive portfolio
*Organizing the working day by territory planning, responsible for making own appointments
*Co-ordinate the activities of others to meet customer needs and enhance customer satisfaction
*Have the ability to make recommendations/ proposals, be persistent, overcome resistance, influence and close the sale
*Responsible for ensuring that appropriate trading/ volume levels are achieved
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree or professional level qualification, but must be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role. Therefore, you will be a Self motivated individual with a proven sales success in a Freight environment, that has the ability to offer logistical solutions and self taught service enhancements. In addition to this, you will have the ability to facilitate the sales process by using questions to obtain information about the customers business situations whilst also identifying areas of customer concern or disagreement and identify additional sales opportunities. Candidates must be computer literate with practical experience of Microsoft Office.
