As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for writing efficient and manageable VB.NET / C# and SQL code to tight deadlines. Furthermore, your role will also include:
*Unit Test and document the resulting code for use within or as enhancements to our clients products.
*Liaise with all members of the development team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
*Diagnosis and resolution of faults within the existing code.

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level within a relevant discipline (Computer Science or similar) and will benefit further from holding a Microsoft Certification. You will be a natural communicator who has a methodical and disciplined approach to development tasks. Most importantly, our client is seeking candidates with experience of the following tools:

*Developing Windows or Web based applications
*Developing in SQL, C# and VB.NET
*Web based development using ASP.NET
*Experience of Java Applet development
*Designing and developing multi tier .Net / SQL Server
*SQL Server database design and optimisation.
*Troubleshooting performance and scalability issues
