Developer (Support)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Developer to join a leading Software house for the Insurance Broker industry based in Worcestershire.

Job Title: Developer
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Working as the Developer you will report to the Quality Assurance & Support Manager and you will be responsible for developing .Net applications. Other duties include;
*Write efficient, manageable VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript and TSQL code to agreed deadlines.
*Unit test and document the resulting insurance applications.
*Provide technical input to clients and Project Managers as required, and to aid the analysis process. *Liaise with Project Managers, Lead Developers and other members of development team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
*Other tasks as directed by the Development Manager or Project Manager

The successful candidate will have previous experience of developing Windows or Web based application and developing in VB.NET or C# and you will also have experience of developing using SQL (ideally T-SQL). Candidates will have good problem skills and the ability to plan tasks to achieve deadlines and to turn a specification into a suitable solution.
