Electrical Design Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Electrical Design Engineer to join a well established and highly respected company based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Due to continuing growth strategy they currently have a vacancy to join their Engineering Department and they are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer with experience in either the brewing or dairy sectors.

Working as the Electrical Design Engineer this position requires knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and experience in the following range of technical roles and responsibilities carried out by this department:

*Control system site surveys
*System architecture drawings
*Electrical design of MCC, PLC, remote IO and pneumatic control panels including layouts, schematic diagrams and termination details
*Field cabling design including cable block diagrams, cable/core schedules and cable tray routing layouts
*Control panel procurement
*Control panel testing

The successful candidate will be educated to HNC level in an associated electrical discipline and will have previous experience within a similar position. You will be conversant with all the elements of the Company's ISO 9001 Quality System. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator who works well as part of a team as well on your own initiative.

The successful candidate will be prepared to travel abroad.
