A unique, challenging and stimulating opportunity has become available for a Graduate Electrical Compliance and Test Engineer to join an expanding and highly motivated team. Our client, based near Redditch, south of Birmingham, are a well-established and well-respected organisation who strive to be the leading provider of help, advice, training, product assessment and testing regarding CE Marking and product compliance legislation.

As a Graduate Electrical Compliance and Test Engineer, you will receive extensive on the job training, as well as the opportunity to add professionally recognised qualifications to your skill-set. As you progress within the opportunity, you will perform an integral part of the technical team, assessing electrical and electronic equipment and machinery. In addition, the role will involve:

-Perform electrical assessments and tests against current EU and UK legislation and standards
-Help co-ordinate projects through client liaison
-Managing the electrical safety laboratory and equipment, and ensure that the laboratory is operated in accordance within relevant quality systems
-Consultation with clients and production of Technical Files and documents

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an Electrical Engineering discipline (minimum 2.1 required) and be able to demonstrate a high level of educational achievement. Previous experience within a laboratory or testing environment would be advantageous, although it is not essential. Additionally, no experience of CE Marking or product compliance is required, although it would be beneficial. However, candidates must have very strong written and spoken communication skills, alongside a high degree of computer literacy.
Candidates must hold a full UK Driving licence, with their own transport.
