Graduate Electronics/Embedded Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join our client based in Coventry. Our client is a specialist in electric and hybrid vehicle engineering, electronics components and battery systems.

Role: Graduate Electronics/Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £25-£27k

Your role as a Graduate Electronics/Embedded Software Engineer will see you join a small, dynamic engineering team and play an integral part in the design of vehicle electronic control modules, as well as software and electro-mechanical engineering and design. Duties of the role include:

*Development of electric vehicle systems and conventional vehicle electronics
*Design and validation of electronic and firmware projects
*Prototype vehicle assembly and testing

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Electronics, Embedded Software, Mechatronics Engineering or similar, and be passionate about engineering, with a hands on and proactive attitude. You will be comfortable with software coding, documentation, electronics design and prototyping, including manual skills such as soldering. MISRA C coding experience will be of particular benefit, as will be experience of Matlab/Simulink and Real Time Workshop, as well as knowledge of battery electric or hybrid vehicle power train deign/testing.
