We have two exciting positions available for a Graduate Engineer based in Kidderminster.

Our client is an industry leading organisation specialising in propellant rocket motors, we are looking to expand our current team due to continued growth and expansion your duties will include :-

You will work as part of a team on all phases of the project life cycle including design, demonstration, development, production and customer support for a variety of new and existing projects.

*Working with internal ballistics which is used to predict, verify and analyse the performance of rocket motors, and stress analysis of rocket motor propellant charges and structures.
*Using more in-depth commercial programmes such as Fluent and Abaqus when required.
*Using analytical and advanced finite element stressing methods to determine failure modes, failure loads and safety factors.
*To carry out extensive testing on materials, components and complete rocket motors to gather design data and verify performance.

The successful candidates will be educated to degree level in engineering, physics or mathematics and hold a good understanding of the basic principles of fluid dynamics and stress analysis. You will also possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment. Specific training will be provided and further opportunities to be involved in other aspects of rocket motor design and development will be available.

Some knowledge of French would be an advantage but is not essential.
