This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join one of the biggest players within the food sector for meat processing on a Graduate Management trainee scheme! We welcome all Engineering graduates to join our client on a 20 month programme covering different aspects within the company.

Past intakes now hold many of the most senior posts in the company. This could be you! To start with you will receive excellent training to equip you with the business and management skills required for the role. Our clients training programme will expose Management trainees to many aspects of their business.

Graduate Management trainees move through every aspect of our business over a 20 month period. At the end we will agree your final career path whether it be in plant management; distribution or production.

As part of the hands of training, you will spend be exposed to all elements of the business, this may be project based or working in a team with real responsibility.

* You will have a hands on approach for varied duties including installation and maintenance of automated and semi-automated food processing equipment and planned maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
* You will be able to take ownership of tasks and take accountability
* Carry out day-to-day repair and maintenance of all equipment on site
* Liaise with Production Department to provide pro-active support to ensure efficiency of production runs
* Pro-active in finding permanent solutions to engineering problems
* Comply with and strongly advocate relevant H&S, Food Hygiene and Environmental legislation

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline this will either be a Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Electrical Engineering discipline; you will be extremely ambitious and committed to succeeding.
