Graduate Production Controller

We are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Production Controller to join our team based in Ruabon, Wrexham. We are a leader in the design and manufacture of piezoelectric and dielectric ceramic products for applications within a variety of growth markets.

Job Title - Graduate Production Controller
Location - Ruabon, Wrexham
Salary - £17,000 - 22,000k dependent upon experience

As the Graduate Production Controller you will be assisting the Master Planning Scheduler in the development and coordination of production requirements, the development of capacity planning data and the implementation of project to improve OTIF.

Key Responsibilities:
a. Manage projects to improve the control of work in progress and on time delivery.
b. Plan new orders and acknowledge despatch date to the relevant sales department.
c. Update tracking logs for critical products; circulate information if required.
d. Review capacity planning and highlight areas of concern.
e. Review work in progress as and when required through physical checks and updating IFS.
f. Provide adequate information to internal sales function to ensure awareness of any deviation to agreed schedules.
g. Hold stock checks as and when required and update IFS.
h. Administer IFS to support production functions.
i. To analyse problems to improve the on time delivery at each stage of work through the factory, ensuring the solution can be sustained for future manufacture.
j. To deputise for the MPS as required.
k. To be committed to a 5S method of working ensuring a well organised, neat and tidy working environment.
l. To adhere at all times to Health & Safety / Environmental Statutory and Company Rules & Regulations.
m. To perform any other duties necessary, as requested by the Master Production Scheduler or a member of the Senior Management Team, to carry out the job function to the achievement of Departmental / Company objectives.

Candidates will ideally have a degree in a Business or similar discipline. You will have excellent analytical skills and proven experience in the application of analytical tools. The ideal candidate will be able to produce high quality work to tight deadlines under pressure.
