We are looking for a confident, self-motivated Marketing Communications Executive to work at an exciting and successful software developer within the insurance broking market.
Job Title: Marketing Communications Executive
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Working as the Marketing Communications Executive you will deliver Group marketing and communications campaigns, maximising brand awareness and ensuring the overall market proposition is communicated in an effective manner. Other duties include;
*Deliver a programme of Group marketing campaigns. Design relevant communications to launch new products, services and initiatives across dedicated brands.
*Support a programme of PR activity for the business.
*Work with the Head of Marketing & PR to shape and deliver a quarterly plan of press release, editorial features and other PR activities
*Work with the Digital Communications Executive to use social media to enhance the company's brand awareness and profile.
*Ensure that all communications generated adopt the correct look, feel and tone of language specific to the reader
*Deliver a programme of events (exhibition/webinars) for the business in terms of event production, promotion, and logistics across the UK and Ireland
*Conduct all campaign activities using CRM systems to ensure information is recorded and campaign evaluation is completed at all times
*Co-ordinate the organisation of corporate hospitality events as and when required
*Responsible for brand and style maintenance in terms of all communications campaigns, brochure wear, PR and social media for the business
*Maintain marketing contacts with third parties, the media, advertising and insurers
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and will be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience within a business to business office environment along with strong experience of managing complex communication and events activities to a high standard. It is essential that you have a broad knowledge of the marketing mix and its deployment. Candidates will have the ability to write English to a very high standard, appropriate for different methods of communications and will be comfortable with technology and be able to use a variety of IT systems including, email marketing software, Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign. You will have strong organisational, team working and time management skills along with the ability to self manage and self motivate to continuously expand professional knowledge.
Experience in an insurance or technology related environment along with direct marketing experience would be advantageous.
