Fantastic opportunity for a Principal Developer to join our client based in Worcester, West Midlands.

Job Title: Principal Developer (JAVA)
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Salary: up to £50,000 + benefits

You will take the lead on development of solutions which enable our client to lead the market, whilst continually improving the current technical estate.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working on large, complex software applications and databases with high volumes of data and large numbers of concurrent users.

You will have proven ability to affect significant architectural change and improvement plans in large, complex development environments and you will also have experience of major re-design and re-factoring of complex enterprise solutions. It is essential that you have experience of developing at an expert level developing software in Java or Microsoft and that you have experience using and implementing Design Patterns.

You will demonstrate technical leadership experience along with experience of tackling performance and scalability issues on a large, high-throughput system, using industry-standard techniques and tools. Problem solving and deep analysis skills are required for this position along with the ability to diagnose performance issues and convert requirements specified at either business or technical level into successful implementation, through analysis/design skills.
