Project Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join our team in Redditch, West Midlands.

Job Title - Project Engineer
Location - Redditch, West Midlands
Salary - £21,000k

As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for the management of process improvement and capital installation projects. To have responsibility to ensure effective communication of key information between all parties and adherence to previously agreed timelines. To work with the Process Engineer to ensure completion of initial PDS and validation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Project Engineer you will be a key member of the Technical Team and will have responsibility for the management and completion of projects.

It is recognised that the nature of the job demands a high level of skill, dedication and self motivation.

General responsibilities to include:

? To draft and agree with management, Design/Project Specifications for all projects on site.
? Work with the Process Engineer to agree machine functionality and Validation protocols
? Actively manage project performance through regular reviews with key stakeholders.
? To perform all necessary FMEA and risk analysis of active projects.
? To maintain all required records and documentation.
? Support key production personnel in the training and set up of new machinery.
? Perform site visits to ensure supplier performance and organise on site/ off site trials.
? Formally sign off all projects and ensure that all training, documentation and risk assessments have been completed.
? Other duties as and when necessary, as directed by the Technical Manager.

Because of the nature of your responsibilities, the position demands discretion within the company, and when meeting competitors, customers, or suppliers within or outside of the work environment.

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar related discipline.
