Software Engineer

This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer with C++ programming skills to join our client based in Birmingham. Our client is a leading developer of advanced CADCAM software, their systems are used to solve complex product design and manufacturing problems in a variety of industries ranging from Automotive and Aerospace all the way through to Medical and Dental. As a software engineers, you will be given every opportunity to use your knowledge and enthusiasm on projects covering every aspect of the software development cycle.

You will work on top-of the-range hardware in modern offices in a collaborative and fun environment. Writing code in C++ and using ancillary tools, such as C#, Visual Basic, HTML and XML you will work alongside more than 100 other developers in an environment that is both challenging and rewarding. You will be expected to work using your own initiative to develop innovative solutions to meet our customers' demands for software that is faster, more powerful and more productive.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will hold a minimum of a 2.1 classification in a Maths, Engineering, Physics or Computer Science discipline as well as demonstrable commercial Software Engineering or Development experience. You will have a real enthusiasm for software development for cutting-edge applications. Experience of development in C++ is essential, ideally gained from within a technically-challenging software development environment.
