Team Leader - Manufacturing

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to come and join our team based in Southampton, Hampshire.

Job Title - Team Leader - Manufacturing
Location - Southampton, Hampshire
Salary - £25 - 30k dependent upon experience

As the Team Leader of the Manufacturing department you will be responsible for the following duties:

* Leading and directing a team of semi-skilled manufacturing operators.
* Organising production to ensure on time delivery to our customers
* Organising production (improvements) to manufacture parts at optimum cost and leadtime
* Ensuring that manufacturing products meet the required quality standards
* Ensuring activities are carried in accordance with Environmental and Health & Safety requirements

You must have the ability to motivate a team, be confident and have the ability to lead. Good communication skills, high personal standards and expectations from others.

Candidates must hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree in an engineering related subject. You must also have recent experience within a component manufacturing environment and looking for opportunity to take on a leadership role or have experience of managing a team. A basic understanding of technical drawing and specifications.
