Our client, a leading distributor of IT and technology products, is looking to recruit an Account Executive to join their sales team. The successful Account Executive will be given their own set of customers with whom they will build close relationships in order to establish our client as the IT industry supplier of choice.

Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: £20-£22k + Uncapped Commission

As the Account Executive your customers may range from small businesses to large national retailers, you will effectively managing your own business and you will work in a small team and have the full support of dedicated specialists who will ensure you have support, information on product and offers to maximise your opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include;

* Managing & developing your own set of accounts ranging from new to established customers
* Working to daily, weekly & monthly targets supported by your team manager
* Taking part in daily team meetings & sharing tips & techniques with your colleagues
* Building specific product knowledge in order to add value to customers
* Dealing with customer queries while offering advice and guidance to customers and suppliers.
* Identifying root causes of problems, issues and complaints to achieve a win-win solution.
* Identifying and report large sales opportunities that may require additional support to secure business.
* Undertaking research of marketplace & your customers to enhance & grow your account set.
* Taking part in promotions and competitions to build company sales

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will hold an equivalent qualification. You will be confident at building relationships with IT resellers and you will be a clear and confident communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit. The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn from colleagues & develop their sales career and will be self motivated & resilient with a positive outlook always willing to rise to the challenge.

You will work to clear targets which on achievement will earn you commission. After training you will receive active account sets from which you can grow your earnings on an uncapped commission basis. Our client holds regular sales competitions and incentives and offer special rates for staff purchases. You will be expected to work between 9 a.m. & 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and receive 23 days holiday per annum + bank holidays. Our client also operates a childcare voucher scheme.
