Business Analyst

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and motivated Business Analyst to join our client based in Worcester. This is a perfect opportunity for the successful applicant who will join a leading Software house and be responsible for the business analysis and management of customer projects within the product development team.

Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: up to £24,000

The Business Analyst will be involved in the analysis, documentation and management of customer projects, duties also include;

*Production of business specifications and change request
*Review business specifications as part of an internal review process
*Obtain project timescales from the development and QA teams
*Arrange and attend meetings to gather project requirements both on and off site
*Provide the customer with timescales for contracted work
*Managing multiple projects, assigned by the Team Leader, within agreed timescales
*Closely managing the customer to ensure their part of the development is managed within the timescales
*Liaison with other internal departments to ensure that project is delivered to specification and within agreed timescales.
*Assist with internal system testing of the software to ensure high quality customer deliveries
*Providing support to the customer when they are performing their testing
*Carry out additional supplementary work as defined by the Team Leader
*Provide backup and support to other team members
*Continuously and constructively challenge processes and procedures with a view to re-engineer them to find more efficient methods of working

The successful candidate will have a successful academic record with GCSE level grade B or above and will have previous working in an analytical or project management position and you will also have experience of working with IT systems in a broking/insurance environment. You will be an excellent communicator with great customer relationship and negotiation skills and you will have excellent analysis and design skills.

It is highly advantageous that you have previous involvement in the design of insurance products and existing knowledge of commercial insurance products. Any experience of XML and the software development process is also beneficial.
