Business Unit Accountant

We are looking to recruit a Business Unit Accountant to join our business based in the East Midlands.

Job Title - Business Unit Accountant

The BU Accountant supports the BU General Manager in the effective and efficient running of the Business Unit, you will take responsibility for the financial needs of the Business Unit .

Role Responsibilities:

* Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of data in to the company systems: Oracle and Management Information System (MIS)
* Provide good analytical reviews to the business unit using the information systems available.
* With the BU General Manager, ensure that the contract reviews are analysed and accurate.
* Assist the BU General Manager in the budget preparation process.
* Supporting the BU General Manager in applying the internal control manual.
* Assisting the BU General Manager in the application of quality policies, including maintaining the accreditations currently held.
* Maintaining effective and efficient filing systems to safeguard the records.

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification. AAT or equivalent accounting qualification would be an advantage
