Our client, a leading business within the Logistics industry is looking to recruit a Claims Team Leader to join their team.
Job Title: Claims Team Leader
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,796
The purpose of the role is leading a team of agents who are responsible for processing customer claims for lost and damaged parcels.
Working as the Claims Team Leader you will ensure that all reports are dealt with efficiently on a daily basis and you will complete all claims as per their department SLA.
Other duties include;
*Maintaining a high quality of service to our external and internal customers
*Ensuring staff and resources are utilised in a commercial and cost effective manner
*To manage the teams sickness and absence. To ensure full coverage of the department at all times.
*To review performance & productivity to ensure Claims are processed on day of receipt.
*Ensure all queries/ Complaints escalated are dealt with in a timely manner
*Deal with any personnel issue arising from the individuals of the team.
*Weekly performance reviews with/for the Claims Co-Ordinator
*Ensure that Claim Forms are issued in line with the Department KPI's
*Ensure that 'investigation' messages are progressed within Department KPI's
*Ensure that the team provide quality customer service to our customers
*Provide support, guidance and coaching of individuals and the team for quality and performance targets
*Produce and ensure the BACS payment run is processed daily for sign-off.
The successful candidate will have previous solid experience working within accounts and will have the ability to lead and motivate staff, you will be an excellent communicator at all levels with good listening skills. You will have the ability to work to tight deadline and achieve set targets along with a good eye for detail. We are looking for candidates who can lead by example and who have the ability to look at all roles within the department to achieve maximum productivity.
You will have excellent knowledge of credit, billing and claims functions.
You may be required to work additional hours to ensure that deadlines are met.
