Credit Controller

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated Credit Controller to work at an exciting and successful software developer within the insurance broking market.

Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £15,324 + bonus

Working as the Credit Controller you will be reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor and you will be involved in the collection of outstanding monies for goods and services within the company credit terms. You will also be involved in;


*Maximisation of cash receipts and reduction in debtor days of all Company Ledgers (Performance is measured by total cash/debtor days and reduction in 90 day+ debts).
*Communication by way of Telephone contact with Clients, email, Fax and Letter.
*Daily writing up of cheque receipts into paying in books.
*Chasing relevant departments to resolve queries in a timely manner.
*Assisting all sections within Commercial Department that directly affect cash collection, i.e. Customer Termination paperwork / Chasing Insurers' who do not provide EDI transaction figures by the agreed timescales.
*Use of INVU Scanning system.
*Covering other Credit Controllers ledger in their absence.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will hold an equivalent level qualification and will have previous experience of credit control and computerised ledger systems. You will have experience of using internal systems to analyse and understand client's accounts, invoicing and system details and you will also have knowledge of company terms and policies relating to contract terms and conditions. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to work under pressure and you will have good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
