SC Cleared DOATT Instructor required to work in Dorset on an 8 month contract initially.

The primary purpose of the DOATT is to provide instruction on the Defence Operational Application Set to military and civilian trainers and users identified from the front line commands. To deliver this capability, the DOATT Instructor will be required to:
* Deliver classroom based Train the Trainer (T3) courses, individual courses including system administrator courses and possess the ability to cross train onto any application.
* Plan and execute training on future applications, including the production of training plans and documentation in accordance with the DSAT principles. Documentation to include as a minimum:
- Training objectives
- Enabling Objectives
- Instructional Specifications
* Devise assessment and evaluation strategies.
* Conduct basic management of personnel on courses.
* Visit distributed training to assist in learning and validation.
* Provide training documentation
* Ensure telephone support is provided to students once dispersed from Blandford.

Candidate should come to the role with:
* An instructor with proven experience as an IT trainer.
* An instructor (Defence Instructional Technique qualified) who has experience of delivering DSAT compliant training in accordance with MOD policies to groups and individuals.
* Willing to travel to unit and exercise locations to provide training and support.
* The ability to quickly expand IT skills through courses and on the job training.
* Good IT and Command and Control application awareness.
* Excellent written and communication skills with experience of defence writing.
* High levels of initiative, dynamism and a proactive approach to work.
* A sound knowledge of MS Office applications.

It would also be desirable for candidates to have:
* Experience working in the MOD sector.
* Recent Operational Experience of the HERRICK theatre to include the use of OVERTASK applications and the management of them.
* Experience with Windows Servers and hardware.
* Experienced JADOCS, JChat, ICC, SharePoint administrator.
