Events Coordinator

We are looking to recruit an Events Co-Ordinator to come and join our team based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Job Title - Events Co-Ordinator
Location - Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary - £17 - 20k dependent upon experience

As the Events Co-Ordinator your key responsibilities will include the following:

* Responsible for the set-up, supervision and dismantling of nationwide events
* Organises the production of all associated event material (e.g. delegate packs and badges, promotional merchandise, literature, presentations)
* Coordinates staffing requirements at all events
* Produces detailed event proposals (e.g. timescales, staffing requirements, health and safety obligations)
* Actively promotes events to include the coordination of invitations and any associated advertising.
* Carries out market research to identify event opportunities
* Sources, secures and books suitable venues
* Identifies speakers and special guests for booking recommendation
* Carries out post-event evaluation and reporting
* Monitors events finances in line with an agreed budget
* Coordinates all on and offline advertising

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification ideally in an Events or similar related degree. You must have previous experience of working in a similar role.
