Our client, a market leading provider of flexible financial systems to the financial sector, is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Analyst Programmer to join their team. Based in Solihull, the role will focus on assisting with the delivery of business software in line with the company's strategy of providing a high quality and continuously improving service to existing clients. The successful candidate will be required to work on multiple projects from concept through to completion and maintenance.

Salary: £16,000 - 18,000k
Key duties:
* Programming maintenance and debugging all aspects of project code.
* Designing and implementing systems based on outline specifications provided by the Directors and clients.
* Producing documentation to the required standards and quality
* Producing program code and specifications to the required standards and quality.
* Supporting system integration testing including input into test planning.
* Proactively identifying and implementing service improvements.
* Successfully meeting agreed SLAs.
* Maintaining accurate information detailing actions required/undertaken.
Candidates will be educated to degree level in an IT/Computing related discipline. Candidates will demonstrate generic programming skills and structured programming skills and will have experience of the full project lifecycle.
Experience of Project methodologies (RAD, Prince, AGILE etc) and ITIL would be advantageous.
Candidates will be willing to learn P4; a proprietary 4th generation language
Candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills and will be committed to delivering results in line with the business goals.
