Role: Graduate Development Surveyor
Salary: £18,000
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
The main aim of the Graduate Development Surveyor will be to directly assist the company Director in maximising value for the firm's clients through providing carefully researched and professionally delivered advice. Clients will include property developers, land owners, operators and investors across all sectors. Working closely with clients in your network to offer comprehensive advisory services that enable the client to fully understand the diverse range of property related implications in any development scenario. Taking this opportunity will allow you to grow and develop within the role undertaking the following tasks and responsibilities:
?Identifying new land and development opportunities
?Negotiating land purchases
?Evaluating development proposals
?Undertaking market research to identify buyer profiles and supply & demand levels
?Interpreting research data
?Assessing land and property use requirements
?Report writing
?Undertaking planning research
?Preparing development appraisals and feasibility studies
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level within a relevant property related degree subject such as: Planning & Development; Business in Property; Property Development; Real Estate Management or similar. Candidates must hold a minimum 2.1 and will benefit from previous experience within a Property related role. It goes without question that applicants will have excellent communication skills with a natural attention for detail and strong analytical skills. You will be able to demonstrate skills in report writing, comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of a business including clients and consultants and have an awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues.
