A leading, nationwide engineering organisation based in Birmingham is offering an exciting, career-moulding opportunity for 2 individuals to join the company on a 2 year Graduate Management Trainee programme. Offering refrigeration installation and maintenance services to large clients across the UK, they are looking for candidates from an engineering background with the initiative and adaptability required to develop their own position within the company, potentially earning a permanent management-level position.

Salary: £17.5k - £18.5k
Job Type: 2 year programme

Job Description
- Undertake departmental rotation across the core disciplines of the business, giving the successful candidates exposure to the core client base, and giving a chance to demonstrate your personal skills and capabilities to succeed in commercial business through the following areas:
Business Development (existing and new business)
Contracts / Projects
Service & Maintenance
Financial Accounts
Human Resources
Systems, IT, Health & Safety
- Work alongside an assigned mentor to develop departmental knowledge and activities to achieve set targets.
- Take responsibility for assigned works and contribute ideas to help improve processes.
- Develop an understanding of budgets, targets, tender documentation, cost estimates and profit targets, as well as other tasks that impact across all departments.
- Undertake training to develop technical knowledge in their refrigeration services.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate
- Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline, or in a non-cognate degree with experience in engineering.
- Will have knowledge of business strategy, marketing, financial reporting and econometrics.
- Have the ability to work under their own initiative, and demonstrate analytical capabilities.
- Have excellent communication skills that can be applied to working team situations.
- Be computer literate.
