IFA Administrator – Solihull - £18,000 - £20,000

An excellent opportunity to join a Financial Services Organisation to carry out administration work, to provide support to administrators, advisers and other members of staff.

Job Role:

• Processing investment sales/purchases ensuring 1st database and clients are kept up to date and seeing transactions through to completion
• Processing changes within trusts and re-assigning investments
• Dealing with queries from advisers and clients
• Processing and seeing through to completion the re-registration of PEP/ISA and investments to fund platforms.
• Reconciling client valuations
• Preparing figures for production meetings
• Providing advisers with fortnightly client progress updates
• Checking the quarterly valuations before they are issued and dealing with client queries
• Ensuring id verification evidence is up to date and updating details on 1st database

Experience and Skills required:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) with a grade C or above in English & Maths and educated to degree standard (or equivalent)
• Ideally be FPC1 qualified or (equivalent)
• Experience with excel, word, internet/email (1st database preferable)
• Good communications skills
• Willingness to work on own initiative and take responsibility/ownership of work
• Ability to adapt to various work situations
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to work as a team member and support other members of staff
• Ability to prioritise work flow
• Attention to detail
• Ability to create clear and concise correspondence
• Ability to comprehend insurance company literature and jargon
• Knowledge of investment products is desirable
