IT Operator/Administrator/Entry-Level IT

This is a post for a candidate with a keen interest in IT who would like an opportunity to work in a busy IT department and has a willingness to learn. The role will entail diagnosing and resolving problems and incidents in accordance with agreed technical operating procedures, IT security policies and SLA's.
Also to manage the progress of assigned requests and work packages to ensure effective resolution. Ensure all such activity is logged on the Helpdesk System effectively and that clients, other team members and project managers remain informed of progress.

Candidates are required to have the following skills & experience;
An interest in IT is required.
* Able to work with technical colleagues, project managers as well as customers.
* Able to prioritise multiple requests to meet service level targets and project milestones
* Careful attention to detail and ability to thoroughly check work for accuracy and quality standards
* Good interpersonal skills and experience of client / user contact in a wide variety of situations

Candidates will be required to obtain a CRB check for this role.
Candidates must have a driving licence as some travel will be involved in the role.
