Are you an experienced Payroll Clerk looking for the next step in your career? If so an exciting opportunity has arisen with our Birmingham based client who is looking for you for a Payroll Clerk to join their team to assist with the preparation and payment of salaries and wages for a designated group of employees.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Calculating payments for sickness, maternity.
* Administer Sickness payment schemes adhering to relevant legislation
* Calculating overtime, mileage and all temporary payments
* Being responsible for inputting employee related data accurately, ensuring employees receive the correct monthly payment
* Responding to payroll related queries from employees
* Using Microsoft Office applications
The ideal candidate will have recent Payroll experience, and be competent in all aspects of payroll, including manual calculation of Tax and NI. First year CIPP would be advantageous but not essential.
