Our client, an established auditing company in the food safety sector, are seeking an enthusiastic individual to come and join their sales team as a business development executive! If you are interested in starting your career in sales and you have a passion for the food industry, this could be the position for you.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: 15k basic, OTE 22k in the first year
Location: Middleton, Tamworth

Job Description:

* Administration of the majority of sales and marketing activities as required by the business
* Initiating client renewals, delivering cost proposals, making sales calls and attending meetings
* Sending mail shots, handling press releases, advertising and developing marketing material
* Attending trade shows as and when required
* Designing and implementing a sales plan in order to achieve agreed sales targets
* Preparing and delivering a monthly sales report to monitor progress of the sales plan against target

The ideal candidate will:

* Be preferably educated to degree level or an equivalent standard
* Have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above
* Have demonstrable experience in a B2B selling capacity
* Preferably have a background of food science or food technology
* Possess a drivers license with their own transport
* Be of a tenacious and target driven nature
