Position: Business Development Executive
Salary: Competitive plus Commission.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

The challenge as Business Development Executive will be to increase the number of spending companies that our client is involved with, and increase the amount of traffic that the already highly successful websites generate. This will test your cold-calling skills to the highest level and therefore, will require a highly driven, passionate and confident graduate who is not afraid of a cold-calling environment.

The role will exploit your very best skills in Customer Interaction, Teamwork, Communication and personal drive. Our client prides itself by employing the best employees who will be able to bounce idea's from each other in order to achieve the overall goal of effectively demonstrating our clients procurement solutions to potential and existing customers and increase their activity and spend.

Structured into two clear divides, the successful candidate will first work on building a successful foundation by cold-calling new or dormant data with the target to sell the client's concept and sign-up clients. This will allow you then to move onto the main focus of the role where you will be responsible for ensuring your client's spend the target's you have been set.

Candidates will need to be comfortable using all forms of customer interaction such as: Telephone; email; conference calls and face-to-face presentations. You will be a confident communicator who can relay technical information in a clear and understandable format.

The candidates we are looking for are target-driven, customer focused graduates educated to degree level. You will ideally have experience within a performance-focused and target based role and be able to demonstrate your ability to consistently meet KPI targets. The successful candidate will significantly benefit from previous experience in Telesales in either a B2B or B2C capacity, in return, you will benefit from regular training, reward career progression and the thrill of working for a hugely successful company.
