Food Technology Graduate

This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join one of the biggest players within the food sector for meat processing on a Graduate Technical Management trainee scheme! We welcome all candidates who are educated to degree or HND level in food related disciplines e.g. Food Science or Food Technology to join our client covering different aspects within the company.

Graduate technical managers can expect to spend time in all areas of the business; including the abattoir, boning hall, and retail packing area. Focus will be primarily on food safety using HACCP principles. There will also be a large focus on product quality and the quality management system, including the procedures used within the manufacturing process.

Technical graduates may expect to aim for a final role within the technical department; this can include QA management and technical management.

Salary: £20,000

As the Graduate Technical Manager you will be involved in;

* The management of all food safety aspects, including legalities and quality within manufacturing sites.
*Development and maintenance of Quality Management Systems to ensure high internal and customer expectations are met at all times.
* New product development
*Ensuring all products conform to or exceed the agreed customer specifications.
*The management and development of an internal audit schedule against BRC guidelines and other assurance schemes related to the industry.


The successful candidate will be educated to degree or HND level in food related disciplines e.g. Food Science / Food Technology. You need to be extremely ambitious, a self motivator and committed to succeeding within the food industry so it is essential that you do have a passion for food.
