Our Birmingham based client is currently looking to recruit a Junior Facilities Assistant. If you're looking for the next step in your career then this might be the perfect role for you.
You will be able to multi-task to a highly efficient standard and communicate within a large team at all levels. It is vital to the post that you are organised and can ensure accuracy throughout the business. Excellent time management skills and experience of IT systems are desired.
Key duties will include:
* Opening, sorting and distributing mail and faxes
* Collection and preparation of outgoing mail
* Flexibility to assist with any team task as required
* Follow up mail with no identification
* Set up meeting rooms/tables and chairs (including specified equipment) requirements in a timely manner
* Ensure equipment is available, set up and correctly working prior to arranged meetings/seminars
* Cover colleagues in their absence
* Assist in office moves..
* Assist staff with all their facilities related enquiries.
* Ensure the office equipment and furniture is usable and arrange repairs or replacement as necessary.
* General maintenance and minor repairs
